Tribal Energy Equity Summit

Seneca Environmental participated in the second annual Tribal Energy Equity Summit, presented by the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy. We are proud to be a sponsor for this year’s summit!

The Tribal Energy Equity Summit provides a culturally supportive and respectful forum for tribal leaders to engage with key decision-makers from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Department of the Interior, as well as a small group of vetted and prequalified energy development and service providers who are part of the Alliance Preferred Provider network.

At the event, Seneca Environmental President and Seneca Holdings CEO Jeff Ellis spoke on the panel Equitable & Effective Approaches to Tribal Energy Finance, which took place at 2pm on Wednesday, March 20.

Tribal Business Development Director Erin Dayl spoke on the panel Preferred Development Provider Panel: Partnering with Tribes, which took place at 8:40am on Monday, March 18.

In 2023, the inaugural Tribal Energy Equity Summit brought together leaders from both Tribal and Federal governments, along with tribe-supporting organizations, for four days of meaningful and effective dialogue about clean energy siting, interconnection, and other critical considerations affecting a just transition. Momentous agreements were made, and impactful collaborations were launched. TEES 2024 will continue this important dialogue and focus on the most pressing energy issues facing tribes at this pivotal moment in time.
