Chris has served as an attorney and business manager for twenty years in companies ranging from mature Fortune 500 to early-stage and growth companies. He has directed or managed over $3 billion of financings, covering debt financings, securitizations, preferred and common equity, complex M&A transactions. He served for many years as General Counsel for a publicly traded company and General Counsel for a multi-billion-dollar finance firm, and he has worked for technology companies and utilities (electric and gas). For the last fifteen years, Chris has focused on development, M&A, and financing for renewable energy companies, participating in more than a gigawatt of financings. Chris has a JD from Cornell University and a BA in International Studies from Reed College.
